Is it sad that I want to play the remake JUST for Ghaleon's new VA? He sounds amazing.

In the beginning when people were about to commit mass suicide over the loss of John Truitt I had faith in the new VA. Both are great for different reasons, but I think this VA fits the "character personality" for Ghaleon's altered rendition in both SSSC and SSH.

That's a bit of an exaggeration, concerning the VA. A few people were devastated. Most were willing to see who would do it. I'm happy with the new VA, like I am with the old one. This new guy doesn't have quite the distinct voice Truitt has, but it suits Ghaleon well. You can hear the earnest gravity in his voice as he calls in the dancing bears.

It was not meant to be taken literally, so yes it was an exaggeration. That's a bit of an exaggeration, concerning the VA. A few people were devastated. Most were willing to see who would do it.

Honestly, I felt this actor more properly exemplified SSSC/EBC Ghaleon. Truitt was great for TSS, but I always felt he was too snobby and, well, obviously evil for the rewritten character. I think this actor maintains the aloofness while not being quite so, eh, snide.

That's exactly it. Also, his motivations as a character had changed so expression wise it didn't make sense for him to be so "in your face" and in TSS the style just fit based on the story. Truitt's rendition was just far and away better in the original Eternal Blue IMO.
Yes, it would have been nice to see what could have been in SSH had Truitt remained but maybe it just wouldn't have sounded as good as people expect.
