I can't place them in a precise order, but this is where they'd tend to fall.
Episode V
Episode IV
Episode III
Episode VI
Episode I
Episode II
The thing is, I don't even think that Episode II is a horrible movie or anything. It's just not truly great for me.
As for Empire Strikes Back, I love the Millennium Falcon. ^^

Return of the Jedi, hands down. Most lightsaber action around when I grew up. And the battle in space was just spectacular for me. I like episodes 1-3, but somethings between the old ones and the new ones just doesn't work out.
I.E. In one of the old episodes, Obi-won mentioned that Yoda trained him, where as in the movies it was Qui-gon.
So yeah, I caught little things like that.

I loved Revenge of The Sith. And I too, am not saying that Clone Wars sucks. I loved the Geonosis battle. That was the best of them all. But that's the only reason why I ever watch it. And Revenge of The Sith picked up all the pieces of the puzzle. Why did Darth Vader become Darth Vader? How did Padame die? Etc. It's all there. It was one of the few prologues I actually liked. And, it kinda minorly freaked me out when Vader killed the kids. I knew they wanted to show that he was now evil, but that was a bit over-kill. Just talking the way he did would have been enough. But nooooooooo. He had to slaughter the innocent. Oh well. Not all great movies are perfect.

Re: favorite star wars movie
V all the way. IV is a close second though. VI could have been almost on par with them, but Ewoks defeating the Imperial army was just stupid.
I, II, and III just didn't have the magic. Horrible dialogue and Razzie caliber acting may have had something to do with it...

Re: favorite star wars movie
I still don't get why III is getting such high numbers, above even the originals. ...must be some generational thing. KF

Re: favorite star wars movie
I liked III, but it just can't be anywhere as good as the originals. Besides... it took two awful movies to set it up. It was good, but not good enough to watch two bad movies before it.

Re: favorite star wars movie
I can't believe Empire Strike's back has such good numbers. I mean, as far as I am concerned it ranks lower than the new movies, which of course rank lower than the originals.
The best part of the new movies is the light saber fights. Yeah, now THAT'S how its done!

Really? Even worse than Phantom Menace? Really? You must really like pod races, annoying kids, and two-dimensional villains (okay... that one's a given for pretty much all of us since we are on an RPG forum) .phyco126 wrote:I can't believe Empire Strike's back has such good numbers.
