Question: I'm able to see everyone's pics except for the one "ilovemyguitar" put up. Did something not register, or can everyone else see that pic?
I'd post pictures, but I never take any pictures. Just look at my avatar, there you go. Besides, my hair's rather messy looking right now, as Brigit St. Brigit theatre always wants me to grow my hair out for stuff - but it always looks messy because the sides and back always grow a lot faster than the top, so I end up looking like I'm from the 70s.
Also, when my hair gets long, the cowlick gets like 10 times more prominent (curse you cowlick, enemy of combs). My boyfriend calls it "the fwoopy thing" in my hair.
I'll just re-post some of my old pictures that I've posted before, for any new people who haven't seen them:
Grim and apparently disturbed...
Friendly...or cheesy...

I just got back from a trip to the big island of Hawaii and i thought that maybe some of you would enjoy a photographic adventure. Sorry in advance if the pics are too large.
heres a picture of me at the top of rainbow falls, its about 100 feet
this one is me cliff jumping at south point, which is the southern most point in the US
this one is of black sand beach which is a beach made from volcanic rock as opposed to regular beaches made from coral
This is the Kileuea Volcano crater
This one is the lava flow being quenched in the ocean
This is my favorite sign ever

That's two for two regarding trips to Hawaii I've taken at the same time as someone else here. We didn't bother with the black or green sand beaches or South Point, though, and while we did dangle our feet in the river just above Rainbow Falls weren't interested in swimming in it. We hiked to the lava flow from the other direction so there weren't any signs like that; the park service assumes people don't come from that side.

Yeah, youre really missing out on a lot at south point, i thought it was one of the most beautiful places there, plus the cliff jumping was great. The caves were nice because you could swim from the cave out to the ocean. We only had a weekend there, so we did everything we possibly could. Im still in hawaii though, im temporary residing on oahu til like february, i just took a little island hopping voyage though. Hope you had fun though.

Alright, I can't believe I'm actually posting this on here, but here's a scan of my headshot. This is because I freakin love my hair, and I gotta represent for the guys with cool hair!
Yes, Mr. Guitar! Represent! You should grow it out all super wild and wear a bandana and then get a harmonica. I don't know, but somehow it would be perfect.
Phyco, that's a bossradical picture and I've got something below inspired by it, so thank you. xxD I used to have that same shirt before milk stained it. Strange, I never knew milk could stain shirts ^^;;
Thanks Lunartic \(^0^)/ My phone does okay, but it burns my face when I talk on it so I mostly just use it to take pictures...anyway, I like your preppy emo stuff and the necklace. Well, mostly 'cause I think it would make for a nice keyblade design. Whose Quinton Flynn, anyway?That's a REALLY nice shot for a cell phone Young Dyne. You look hot. :3
I like people's pictures here, and while phyco's and lunartic's pictures come in at a close second, I have to say I think the best pictures here are of Sonic#'s armor made from recycled paper. I love it.
Here's some more of my own;
My Phyco-inspired pic
This picture proves you can still have a good time with your co-workers even after being injured at work.

Hehe, the sign is pretty funny, but the black sand beaches just look freaky, basically tarish. My favorite sign is on the road to the top of Pikes Peak mountain. The picture shows bigfoot, and the sign itself says "Warning, Bigfoot Crossing."

Oh, I imagine that it was good sand, I was just saying it looked nasty Though green sand, that sounds intresting.
Now, I tried to get a picture up of my recent trip up to pikes peak (didn't make the summit, had to go back due to the top getting closed at the last minute) but something is being stupid, so I can't upload it. Grrrr

The first snow fell on Pikes Peak just a couple of weeks ago, and it's been getting pretty cold down here as well, but no snow below the mountains. The day we went up the mountain, we made it all the way to just .5 miles from the summit when thick clouds encased the mountain, making visiability about a foot or two before you couldn't see anything. Let me tell you, when the cloud moves and you suddenly see the car about a foot from an edge of the road, and it's a few hundred + foot drop, you get a little scared.
Anyway, at .5 miles from the top it started to rain, hail, and snow. All at the same time. So there was a ranger there who was turning traffic around, and further up the line at the summit they prevented people from leaving, having to call in a ranger truck with a snow plow. Quite fun though, the tempurature when we went up was 80 degrees. At the point where we had to turn around, it was about 34 degrees. Once back on the bottom, it was now about 62 degrees.

Yeah, I think there's only one green sand beach in the world, on (of course) the Big Island of Hawai'i. There's a deposit of olivine there which has been pounded into sand. I would've liked to see it but we got a late start that day and decided to skip it. Just as well, though, so I didn't have to try to resist taking some with me.

I do wear a bandana sometimes. But as for a harmonica, it's not really my style. As you can probably guess, I love my guitar, haha.
I took another picture with my camera phone. It's obviously of lesser quality, but here it is.

Might have been just as well, i saw it, but it definately took a chunk out of our day. You need a good 4 wheel vehicle, wrangler as a minimum. And its quite a hike if you dont, prob like 3 or 4 miles, then you have to scale down the face of this small cliff to get down there to see the beach, which is tiny. Also the sand wasnt that impressive. I liked the black sand beach better.

That's funny, because if I went to Hawaii I would totally steal some of the different kinds of sand We've (as in my family) has done it before when we went to Biloxi, Mississippi. We took a coke bottle and gathered some of the beach sand as a souvenir and took it home with us. Of course, I we don't have it anymore to my knowledge, got lost somewhere in the half dozen or so moves we had since we took it home with us the first time.

I'm not so sure about sand, but I know if you got caught taking rocks from some of the National Park, you can get into MAJOR trouble with Park Services. My dad would always get pissed off at people for walking on tundra up in the high elevations of Rocky Mountain National Park, then turn around and take his girlfriend a rock home from the park. Granted, the tundra is really fragile and takes a LONG time to be restored, but my understanding is that taking stuff out of national parks and monuments is a big no-no and is frowned upon hardcore.

This time, I can see your picture (I don't know why, it wouldn't show for me last time.)
You look very nice. I'd date you. If I wasn't taken. Although who knows, maybe the other Eric (my boyfriend) would go for that sort of thing.

Really? Well I guess that makes sense, but I never thought that taking a small rock would do anything anyway.

Oh yeah taking stuff from national parks is a big deal. I know you cant take sand from the green or black sand beaches. You also cant take any volcanic rock from the volcano national park. Even though the whole island is made from it, but oh well. The native hawiians also believe that you are cursed if you remove the rock from the island. The curse you ask? Well I was told by some of the native islanders that you're cursed to urinate in your pants if you remove volcanic rocks. So tally ho if you want some volcanic rock i guess.

The issue isn't taking just one small rock. But if it's generally acceptable to take anything from a national park, then anyone coming in and visiting it will take a rock, a tree branch, a piece of coral (which is incredibly stupid), or a jar of sand. Soon enough, it takes a toll on the natural habitat itself to have so many visitors coming in and taking stuff. KF
