What Is Demo Clear Data

dunno if it was asked, but i've already beat the game, did it this morning, but what is Demo Clear Data to use, dunno if it was asked before. thanks.
Demo Clear Data is obtained by playing the Lunar: Silver Star Harmony Demo off of PSN, and at the end you save the demo clear data. If you had the data on your Memory Stick Pro Duo, the actual game would ask you if you want to load the Demo Clear Data.
This gives you a bonus starting weapon when you talk to Alex's father before going to the White Dragon Cave. He'll give you Silver Darts instead of a Sling.
