Lunar Remastered! Coming Spring 2025 on the PS5!

The Lunar Remastered collection is a remaster of the (presumably Playstation version of the) main two games: Silver Star Story and Eternal Blue Complete. English, Japanese, and now German and French translation were announced. Check the main Playstation blog article for more.

Very nice! Playing the Japanese SCD Lunar 2, and then the Android version of Lunar 1, has made me want to go back to the PS1 Lunar 2 again. I'd been thinking next winter or summer break would be a good time to go back, and then this news drops.

This is huge. I've been hoping GungHo would do this since they did their Grandia HD Collection.

This is so amazing, and I can only hope it will be successful enough to potentially revive the franchise. However, while I'm super excited, I feel like this remastered collection is still quite timid, as it doesn’t introduce many new features. I hope we at least get highly refined graphics or something else to be excited about.
I also really hope for a physical release, and a collector's edition would be incredible!

I was so happy when I saw this announcement. I hope this sells really well. Maybe it would inspire a re-release of Lunar Magic/Walking School or even... a Lunar 3 (I know it's a pipe dream, but I can dream :) )

I still can't believe this! I was so shocked when I poking around online and saw this! I always hoped since the Grandia collection they'd do this, but never thought they would! I'm so excited!

So big hopeful questions....How successful (i.e., number of copies sold) do we think this remaster needs to be to:

Encourage a re-release of Magic/Walking School (for those of us who never got to play it)?
....Lunar....3? (insert hopeful face emoji here).

Regardless of the answer, I know I will buy my copy. :)
