Im liking the new voices so far!! Sounds a lot like the originals, more than the PSP did. I thought it could be different takes from the same actors looool
Not to speak for anyone else, but I guess this is the trouble with youth culture when you're aging out. Kubooka has always been kind of throwback as an artist, (Giant Robo, anybody?) but this art is looking more on-trend than he usually produces, at least for Lunar. I'm not complaining; it's just interesting.

I'm very interested to learn more about the voice cast, especially since the trailer suggests this project is hewing closer to WD style than the PSP localization did. It'll be fun to compare.

I'm pumped about the potential to get high-res/hi-fi Lunar 2 assets. Maybe finally hear all the music at a proper sample rate?

I noticed that too. We'll have to wait and see how the new cast is, but after all these years I'm personally open to a new voice cast trying their hands at it. Who knows, perhaps they'll do a better job? Also it's a good chance for a translation that sticks closer to the source material. I love the original translation to pieces and wouldn't change it, but the anime fan of 2024 is not the same one as in 1995. I would have killed someone when the games were new for the amount of Japanese language and cultural information I have available to me now.
Here's two things I'm all but certain of...

Alex is voiced by Zeno Robinson
The cover of Wings likely came from AmaLee

Gematsu They have posted many screenshots of what the remastered both game looks like. Note that the backgrounds in the battle scene have slight changes compared to the version of somoga even the sprite on the back of the black dragon varies slightly we will have to see if they correct the error of somoga with the blue dragon where they put four legs when this dragon only has two and the wings are his hands I also hope that the blur can be removed

Imagine fighting the Guardian at such low levels. I've always made Hiro level 14 through Lucia farming.
Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

If you look at the main forum, I flood my stuff in their just to keep the forums alive. We really hit a slow period for a few years, but I occasionally get that nostalgic bug for the old days of the ACO/Lunar-Net community I used to love in the 90's.

You both have been around since the start, and seeing you post this week (as well as Lunartic), makes me sentimental.
I'm happy with my life, but even at 44, I still miss those days.

I'm 43 myself this year. Believe me I totally get that. What I wouldn't give to be a teenager again when Lunar was just coming out and the community was super active. ;_; Getting older sucks, I want a refund! ;P

I see they dropped the pixel art upscaling like were doing with Grandia HD.

I know what that's like. I just turned 48 last week...

I am completely confused by this. SoMoGa didn't make any graphical changes on that scale that I'm aware of.

Lunar Touch has widescreen backgrounds drawn specifically for it. GungHo did not reuse those.

It's...possible...that in all these years I have never noticed that the blue dragon doesn't have forelegs. Even though I have looked at the concept art and such.

that was a Somoga mistake, putting hind legs on the sprite of Cyan the blue Dragon
