Working Designs' conversions are usually right on the mark. They produce the only English versions of Japanese games I've ever seen that actually preserve the spirit of the original dialogue. So besides Kizyr's observations, changes I remember include Hiro talking a bit more in the US version of Seg...

Hmm, switching things from Dark to Light? Yikes. Lunar isn't really that monochromatic a universe traditionally, with Zophar only showing up as manifestation of humans' worst rather than as a foil to a good god(dess). Hope it's as good as Grandia III is looking, and not an Estpolis/Lufia III!

Yup, at Level 51 it really shouldn't be that hard, unless you're short on supplies (keep that in mind--since he levels up like you do, you're less likely to outlast him if you don't have enough HP and MP refillers). If that's the case, just kills guys around the statue in the tower so they drop you ...

Yeah, in Japan sellers often won't ship internationally (this may be true in the States, too, but I've never ordered stuff from American auctions while elsewhere). There is an interesting thing you could do if you were truly desperate to get some Yahoo Japan auctions you see. Mail Order Japan (.com)...

It's true, the novel artwork is fantastically rare...I can't remember if it was actually produced after the SSS Newtype collection or not, but it's certainly not in there, but WD's use of at least the scary one with Luna and Ghaleon was a welcome choice. I'd love the one of Dyne and Althena from boo...

Wow, that is some excellent research, well-done! Despite MCD Lunar~EB being my very favorite video game, I had no idea that the EB remix even had multiple discs! I'm actually surprised Working Designs used animation stills for some of the SSS CD's simply because, like with TSS, there was a dumbfound...

Yep, that's the ticket! The page doesn't really rank them in order of rareness, so it could just be my imagination about Set One being less common, though it's arguably the best-looking set, along with Set 3, at any rate.

Hmm, I had the impression from a report (maybe WD released the info at some point later) that the set featuring the Four Heroes and then the cover art of Alex/Luna/Magic Emperor was the least common, but we could always go archive-diving at Working Designs' page to find out, I suppose!

It always did seem like a shame that there was never as much cel art for EB (original or remix) as there was for TSS and SSS, and the CD art variation was such a cool idea. I wonder if there was a science to getting the rare ones...I ordered TSS direct from Working Designs after I first played MCD E...

Fantastic! Those old threads helped me remember the less obvious pieces, but once they were gone I realized I'd forgotten where something so simple as the town musics played. Thanks for digging the answers up!

Really! The Burg music happening again had completely slipped my mind, I could've sworn it was the more bustling of the two town musics, but maybe not, then. Sniff...anyone else have a game in progress where they can check on this, I'm still curious about what plays where.

songs of the town

A familiar topic coming from Iwadare-obsessed me, but seeing as how all the old threads were recently erased... I was curious if anyone had a save before the end of the game, before you're locked into the last dungeon, and if so, if you can teleport around to identify the songs that play in Saith, M...

You know, I'm sorry, but I'm still refusing to participate in the poll until I find out what the hell the game is about. I mean, why name the game Dragon Song only to have it deal with blinging gangsta's in the ghetto with Ak-47s, nukes, and hot babes? Yeah >_> Heh, ya, and personally I'm a bit puz...

Yup, just like GhaleonOne and Kizyr have put it...although if you think of them as "cousins" but not in the literal sense, that seems fine, too. The Lunar 2 comic (the one in Asuka DX) reaffirms all those things, too, and Zophar repeatedly calls Lucia "Goddess" or "Goddess of the Blue Star," reaffir...
