I picked up my Lunar: Legend copy in Akihabara, but you can find it at most any used shop in the country. I'd keep an eye on US auctions too; it can still show up there. It ran less than $30 for me. KF

Here's a shot of my outfit at my cousin's wedding this past weekend: http://members.aol.com/sirkizyr/webimages/kaiser-suit01s.jpg Oh and Coley, you look so cute like that! Your avatar looks funny... I dunno if I like seeing you all goofy-looking like that. The image up there still looks hot, though....

I think Nintendo is just failing to get their facts together competently.

The cards are probably a minor role in the gameplay, though you might be able to collect and trade them more like in Lunar Legend. KF

I'm still wondering why everyone doesn't just wait for the storyline before passing judgment. That's what gave the original games their charm. That's what'll make this game part of the Lunar series. 2D, 3D, or 2.5D won't matter so long as the story still makes the game feel like part of the series. KF

I have the SSS Newtype artbook. I don't have the I&II artbook, however. I have more time this summer, but everything will have to wait. My cousin's wedding is this week and the ceremonies will be taking place from Thursday to Sunday, and after then I'm going to Atlanta with my sister. So, for th...

Kubooka was the character designer, but Shigema did the storylines. I think Shigema did plenty more with character development, though--it shows up well in the novels too, though the characters do act a little differently there.

Wasn't Shigema also behind the Grandia series? KF

No worries. Your English is better than G1's. And hey, if the folks at LunarHope can follow what I'm saying when I post there, the folks here can definitely follow what you're saying.

Anyway, welcome to the site and I hope you stick around. KF

Ok, G1 linked me to the old boards and I found where I made an older post after having played the Japanese version of TSS (Sega CD only). Here's a list of all the changes--mostly dialogue--that I found. This was made in the context of too many rumours about major changes by WD in the storyline, all ...

I got a thing for shorter hair these days. I used to prefer long, long, long, but I see more and more really cute girls with short hair. I think I'm indifferent by now.

Cute look by the way... Short hair really suits you, Coley. KF

Mystere's Mask wasn't a character! Mystere's Mask just added character! Like that sexy black cape. I mean, you need a cape and a mask if you're going to go around the countryside as the defender of JUSTICE! KF

I'll pick Rikku 'cause of her outfit in X2, and the fact that Rikku cosplayers make me afraid to open my eyes at any con for fear that I'm committing some kind of crime. KF

Jean, definitely. Best character all-around, and the only one with a sufficient backstory.

Mystere comes in a close second. KF

That's what the "official" date is but mostly according to game stores.

At the rate it's going, though, I highly doubt it will be out in Japan by this July, much less out in the US. KF

Awesome... I'm finished with my undergrad now as well, double major and a minor. I'll be holding off the job search while I take a vacation though.

Once I get back I'm headed back to DC which, unlike Wichita, has enough places to look for work {^^}. Why don't you head out East? KF

Kiz, saying that the definition of the word pagan is eurocentric is like saying that an elephant is big, it's obvious, it originated in western europe, of course it is eurocentric. My point was that it was an antiquated definition. Most folks consider paganism as something non-mainstream; since Sik...

Re: Back!

Hey, guys. Sorry I've been gone for so damn long.. Freshman year of college really sent me for a loop. Ended the year with a 3.6, though, so I guess it was worth my sanity. SO FILL ME IN! THE DRAMA, THE ANGER, THE SPAM, THE NEWS! I've been un-internetie for about three months now. I've missed a lot...

Pagan is an all inclusive term for any religion besides any variation of the Big Three, excepting agnostic. In other words, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Jainism are all pagan? I think that's a very Euro-centric definition of paganism. Well, on top of that, an isolated Euro-centric definition of...
