Re: Working Designs lives on: Alundra & Arc The Lad for PSN

I've always wanted to play Alundra, so this is certainly good news. Maybe even Arc the Lad III will come out if all goes well (that one's my personal favorite of the three).

Re: So, how did everyone discover Lunar?

My best online friend at the time (about, oh, ten years ago?) kept telling me how good the Lunar games were (Playstation versions; neither of us owned Sega CDs). So I looked up information about it... and ran into articles and translations about the SIDE game, Magic School Lunar. I became obsessed w...

Re: ALL MAGIC SCHOOL LUNAR! VIDEO SECUENCES **SPOILER WARNING**

*arrives late to topic!* On another note, most of the animation in this game looks analog, so animation cels were theoretically involved. Highly collectable animation cels. Never seen one, though. I've never run across any either, but the animation is a bit more classic, so cels may have made. Proba...

Re: MS Movie Rips

You mind if I link to these from LunarNET? I may make my Christmas update a movie one and just upload all the Lunar movies I have onto YouTube (well, whatever isn't already there). I'm sure people would love the ultra hi-res SSS PC movies as well. Of course! I could give you the original AVI files ...

Re: MS Movie Rips

"Bumping" the topic since it's been over a month: I just decided to upload them to YouTube, using both the Japanese descriptions, my own interpretations, and my brief knowledge of Japanese. If anyone is curious to know what all the MSL animated cutscenes are like, you can find them here at...

MS Movie Rips

I know this has been done before, but since I'm unable to find them online anymore, I ripped all the movies from the Saturn game, and I'm planning on putting them on my website at some point. The question is, I have a .txt file of all the names and descriptions of the scenes, but I'm unable to trans...

Re: Text-only version of Walking School walkthrough?

Ah, I haven't been here in so long, but I just wanted to thank you for the full walkthrough. I've been meaning to pick the game up again after my Saturn's batteries had died, but this has got me motivated again. I'm so happy with everyone that's contributing to this game as of late!

I think some of the essentials to put in the walkthrough is when and where you can learn new spells, since it's pretty random, plus you have to consider that there's people out there that can't read Japanese that well (like me). Basic storyline elements included in the walkthrough would also help, b...

I'm 22 by the way. :P

The PS2 rerelease of Tales of Symphonia had a couple more anime cutscenes (among other add-ons), but that version was never released here. As for Tales of Phantasia, it's my personal favorite Tales game. I'm a bit disappointed in the bland translation in the official release (plus "Kangaroo&quo...

I feel guilty because I never did get past the first dungeon in the game, and I got it back in November. But, while the character designs were nice and the world seemed Lunar-ish enough, the gameplay was just too tedious for me (and I've played more than my share of tedious games to put up with this...

I take a hiatus from this site for a few months, and come back to find THIS? That'll teach me to check this place more often in the future. I swear I tried getting my hands on this video at least three times over the past two years when I managed to find it up for auction, only to get vastly outbidd...

Yeah, that's what I figured (it makes no sense that the characters' stats would go way beyond the usual hundreds in a Lunar game), but I just wanted to make sure.

I'm tempted to say Lunar Magic School, but that would be a bit biased of me, since I've yet to fully beat the game, even if I do know the majority of the story. Besides, I can see how most people would just deem the game mediocre. In terms of my obsessive devotion to it (and Walking School), though,...

A couple of the screenshots here show the characters with that amount of HP/MP. I'm fairly sure they're just beta shots, since no levels are shown, but I'm not positive. I still need to find time to beat the game, darnit.

Hey, not bad. Being a Lunar community, I'm glad Silver Star and Eternal Blue were the games most people voted for. Too bad I didn't get to vote... I'm not surprised the remakes scored higher, though, since a lot of people never got to play the originals, myself included. That's what I get for never ...

You know, I never really gave it much thought. I had just figured Emma was an exceptional healer. But it could very well be a possibility, though the game hardly makes any references to the other games. That's the downside of it being merely a gaiden, I guess. It's been way too long since I last pla...

I'm still in the middle of chapter six, myself. Just haven't had any time to play, unfortunately, plus my Japanese is extremely poor. I have the guide as well, and basically if you can't read the language, the only part that will be much use to you are the maps. Though they do sometimes point out wh...

Bleargh, Vergil is already winning. At this rate, Ghaleon and Sephiroth won't be able to duke it out at all.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Ghaleon will win, though.
