Hi everybody,
Thought I would share this. A little while ago I commissioned some art to be done for my City of Heroes characters. It's pretty awesome and I thought some of you might like to see it. I have all of it posted up in a little gallery up on my blog. Enjoy.

Re: Nice knowing you, America.
I have to say out of all the message I've seen posted in a long time , this statement below really frightens me. Wild men are already starting to get bold enough to be openly violent, stand up to, and challenge authority. Not that there was a standoff, or that a man was allegedly calling in threats ...

Re: Obama needs to stop playing nice with people.
I find this entire situation to be a little funny*, actually. Health care costs as they are now in the United States is not a free market situation, which is why health care costs are so much more than consumers can afford. 50% of every dollar spent on health care currently in the US is provided by ...

Yes, I've been playing Team Fortress since it was a quake mod.

Re: Japanese voice actors have nothing on English voice actors
I'm a big anime fan, I've been watching anime for many many years now. Heck I'm about 100+ episodes into Urusei Yatsura, which is only subbed and one of the older series that became pretty popular. And what do I have to say about this topic? I general I've always preferred the english dubbed voices ...

Re: Clothing and Art Style of the Lunar Games
By art style do you mean of the clothes, or the drawings, or the architecture...? The obvious, of course, is the Greek vibe in the Goddess Tower (and Althena's outfit) in TSS, and the statues in the later games. Lucia's Blue Tower and the reliefs look more Assyrian to me. I just wanted to note when...

Clothing and Art Style of the Lunar Games
So, I've been thinking a little bit about the clothing and art style of the Lunar games lately. Now, unsurprisingly, I like it. But when I think about it I have a really hard time describing it. It seems to take elements from other clothing styles but I can't really put my finger on the influences, ...

Re: Something I noticed about the original Lunars
I haven't played my copy of TSS recently, but I have to say that from what I remember I can see how you could say it hasn't aged well in comparison to later offerings. I love the game for what it was, but it has a lot of "first time mistakes" that are pretty plain to see. IIRC what hurt TS...

Re: Possible 20 years in prison for owning manga? Support the C
The purpose of government is an issue that has been debated for over 2000 years of human history. From the quick look at that radio link you gave me it looks like a libertarian radio station, but I don't see why it would shock me since I'm familiar with the concept. You seem to assume I have my pol...

Re: Possible 20 years in prison for owning manga? Support the C
Occupants of a car who don't wear seatbelts have a much higher chance of serious injury in a crash than those who do. A serious crash effects other cars on the road, the emergency staff cleaning up the staff, and the hospital treating the patients. In countries with federal medical plans, those exp...

Re: Possible 20 years in prison for owning manga? Support the C
Yes seat belt laws are a pretty good example. New Hampshire is currently the only state in the US to not have a seatbelt law. They seem to take the state motto, "Live Free or Die" pretty seriously up there. Just to add to it, not only do they enforce such a law, but then they steal your mo...

Re: Tatsunoko vs Capcom
You may have heard of Gatchaman by a number of different names in the US. G-force was one of the names that comes to mind off the top of my head, but not the most common name from what I recall. An internet search might pull it up. BTW, what Dark_Fairy said in response to this post is generally the ...

Wow, this has been one crazy little thread that I've had the pleasure to skim through over the last thirty minutes or so. Wow. I find some of the notions expressed in this thread to be pretty frightening and kind of odd. I would like to note that we generally tend to hold those under the influence o...

Re: My first con!
Gather around children, it's story time. My first convention was Katsucon 5. (1999) To give you an idea how long ago that was, Katsucon 15 occurred last February. It was one of the most awesome times I had ever. The hobby was a lot smaller back then. I mean, this was back when about all the anime yo...

Re: Lunar Cosplay
All except for fat Jessica and somewhat chunky Luna. If you don't have THE FIGURE of the character...DON'T COSPLAY AS THEM. "Lucia" should have taken her glasses off for the picture, too. If this is how you're going to act towards people who put lots of work into their costumes then pleas...

Re: Another Remake?
Well I suppose more backstory on the four heroes is good. But I mean I wouldn't even know that if you hadn't told me. I see that they're remaking the game and I've already lost interest in it before they talk about it. :( And for the record I don't buy any of the FF1 remakes either. I mean, hey, rem...

Another Remake?
Sorry if I sound a little bitter. I was just checking out the site on the whim* and I saw the news about the new Lunar remake and, well, don't get me wrong, it's nice to have a new portable Lunar game. I've got nothing against remaking a good game. But four remakes of an RPG in 16 years? I mean, yea...

Would you believe that the last time I thought about these Lucia resin kits was 2006 when you were sending the kit in to them? Wow. Anyway, out of curiosity, how often are these ever in stock? Also, what kind of paints are you painting these with anyway? I've got a more or less full set of these acr...

... sometimes I have insomnia ... Too elaborate a little bit more on this, coltan is a local name for the ore from which tantalum is mined. Coltan doesn't exist anywhere because no one calls it coltan anywhere else. The Congo only produces about 1% of the world's Tantalum. Any natural resource which...

MIDI's are a format that was originally used for electronic keyboards. Ever hear that preefab song that plays on a keyboard? That's a MIDI. A MIDI file simply is instructions on how to play a composition, rather than playing it back. For example, in a piece of music with a drum and a piano the MIDI ...
