Better question: have you met any snarky people with whom you can make fun of friendly people?

!! Holy -Dragon Diamond-! That looks like a distraction! No, I have not. I should play it to get my mind off how empty and meaningless my existence is. Unfortunately I'm writing a paper right now.

This!

I haven't been around long, so I have to ask, although it's moderately obvious from context. Did you just move or some such?

Don't blame me, Lucia promised me lots of snuggles and cuddles if I would be her PR guy.

Ah, I completely understand. I just started grad school myself, and I was luck to find a group of friends pretty quickly. I hope you also discover multitudes of friends soon, but until you do, there's always video games!

Make yourself a cup of cocoa, curl up with a nice book...actually, that advice never helps me much because if it's a book I like I have to read all night to finish it and the sugar aids and abets this. Maybe something boring. I usually do crosswords or other puzzles as a sleep aid. I figure that if it doesn't put me to sleep it at least gives my brain some exercise without straining my eyes. If my spouse insists that I turn out the light before I'm sleepy enough to conk out I find some mental arithmetic or algebra to do, usually relating to knitting patterns. Now that I think of it that's just fancier sheep-counting.

Hire yourself a cuddle buddy. :) If money is an issue, I think I have some left over chloroform in the basement somewhere.

I am often bored and lonely, watch out if you stay that way it will drive you mad, and next thing you know it, you'll be surrounded by glittered paper cranes, omg they're every where

Get out of there! Once paper cranes reach a certain density, they start folding themselves from scraps of paper and then there's no stopping them.

Almost every natural disaster in recent history was created to cover up origami crane outbreaks. They're adorable, flammable zombies.
