I liked the GC version better. I can't explain why, but I did.

I do! But I don't use the Wifi features of it (Instead, I visit my sister's town.). But I have to say, I love both the original and Wild World.

I have it its vary fun I find it better then 1st just due to the WiFi
And has most what 2ed game had (if going wtf There was N64 game that was japan only lol)
+ new things and net play
I in joy going other towns I been to # them and some PAL regin towns XD

Well, you know what? I successfully recreated one of the Lunar Legend Nall sprites in AC:WW. It wasn't easy, I'll hand you that. In fact, it took a good long time (I didn't keep track of just how long XD). I'm planning on doing more Lunar Legend sprites in Wild World sooner or later.

I just got the game a few days ago and I am having a lot of fun with it. I have yet to test out its wi-fi capabilities but when I do I'll let you know ilovemyguitar!

I purchased the blue DS that came with Animal Crossing a while ago.

I played it for a while, then moved on to other games (I played the Game Cube one previously)

I've never actually used my DS on WiFi. Can you just use it on a regular wireless network and visit other towns?

It uses my Rounter play with others your AC:WW copy should came with a WiFi Instruction Booklet I goted my work in only matter of 3/4 mins XD

Ehehehehehhh... I don't use WiFi. Sorry... Wish I did, but sadly I don't. But I did submit it to animalxing.com. (Actually, I did it first using the site's texture generator and a sprite, obviously zoomed in enough, as reference.) The sprites finally showed up. Search for Sparkle the Mysterious, and you'll find the ones I've made.
But if I had WiFi, I'd be glad to let you in my town... all I would have to do would be to clean up the weed problem. (And put up more sprite work XD)
But, sadly... I don't... sorry -_-;.
