Fanart Idea for Luna

Post by phyco126 »

Since I can't draw worth a damn, and since I don't know how to use photoshop for coloring and added effects, I have an idea for the rest of the best artists here to use. I would think if done right, the idea would make for a great fanart picture.

The idea is having older Luna (maybe from EBC) looking saddly over a grave, where the grave stone will say Dragonmaster Alex. With Luna is nall, sitting on her shoulder, possibly crying. It's could and the snow is just starting to fall, so no snow on the ground, and a little in the air to add some chilling effect. The background should be darker at the top, and slightly dark around. It should be a solem picture, full of feeling, so that the person who sees the picture would feel the transfered sad emotion.

Dunno, I wish I could draw it, but I think it would be a rocking piece of artwork if done right, I know several artists here could do a wonderful and profession job, but perhapes other would like the challenge to try it as well?

I would LOVE to try it, but as you know, my art skills are limited to pencil sketches only. xD I couldn't do fancy coloring or anything, but I wouldn't mind sketching it out. It'd give me something fun to do in class! Besides, Nall is one of my favorite drawing subjects. xD

A sketch would be lovely, I just want to see the scene drawn (though I would really want it colored someday, maybe not your version, but you know, yeah :) ). Plus, I think it would be neat to see everyone's version of it :)

Interesting... I'll see if I too can give it a try, I know I've been lacking in the Lunar fan-art recently. Though my coloring skills need work... lots of work.

Why not? It's something new, serious, and I think it would be a wonderful piece, again, if done right :)

How Luna could see Alex's grave? They loved each other & died in one day, like in old fairytales -_-'

You know, I never thought about it, I just assumed that she outlived Alex.

I actually thought it was said somewhere that Luna outlived Alex? That she made that recording in EB after Alex had passed away. Perhaps Nall said it at some point? I may be imagining things or thinking of something someone said on these boards though.

How old should Luna be? Like granny Luna or bromide Luna in EBC?

I too recall somehting in EB saying that she did in fact outlive Alex... I can't remember if it was her or Nall that said it though. But I am pretty sure I remember it that way.

Also not sure how good I am at Granny-Luna... we'll see, we'll see.
