Bloodrayne: Betrayal

Anybody pick this up yet? It's a new Wayforward game released on PSN/XBL. It was kinda surprising to see Bloodrayne get resurrected after so long, but this game is really fun.

The graphics are crisp and all the sprites are well-animated and move fluidly. The gameplay can probably be best compared to a hack 'n slash, but with some pretty heavy platforming elements. The platforming reminds me a lot of old-school Castlevania, which is definitely a good thing. Combat is VERY fast and requires pretty good reflexes too. The game's no pushover either. Enemies cause a lot of damage to Rayne and you will have to fight many of them at once. Luckily, you can gain health by feeding, so that helps lessen the blow a bit.

I downloaded it tonight and just reached level 6. I'm a Playstation Plus member, so the game cost me $12.00, but the actual price is $15.00. IMO, it's totally worth that.
