But I'm going to college so I won't be able to play it for a very long time.

That makes you my special hero. When you have time on a weekend look for me online. We'll have to play together. Which character do you play as?

I haven't even INSTALLED it yet I've been so rushed. I got back from Kiz's and I spent a week mostly getting stuff together and such (I DLed it just before I left.)

But, this is a squad-based shooter? Like Halo? or Counterstrike?

If so, I usually play The Vanguard type. (Mass Effect players understand) Basically, Assault Rifle for mid-long range, shotgun for close-mid range and lots and lots of armor/hitpoints.

OR I'll play The Flea, They also have the assault rifle and a big, strong, pistol. Both weapons have the same range and they hide behind the Vanguard and heal him/her.
I call The Flea such because of the roll they play in the game. Their Assault Rifle is not as strong as the Vanguard's so they plink at the enemy for small amounts of damage. While their pistol is VERY strong, but not at long range, and usually has a small ammo clip. (6-9 shots)

You could be Brick who's ability to punch the blood out of things gives him added hit points. He's also good with rocket launchers and shotguns. He's pretty fun to play also. I'm playing the sniper class in the game.

I wouldn't clasify it at all with a squad based shooter like CS or Hola. It's more of an FPSRPG. There's no real tactics involved, but it's still very fun. Like...very fun. Whenever I finally get settled in and you do the same then we can play some awesometasticfun.

My friends got me hooked on Borderlands 2 weeks ago. The flow typically goes something like: you get a task to complete, you successfully carry out the mission to accomplish said task, endorphins are released and you're given a new task to repeat the cycle.

Crack cocaine in a similar way, but luckily Borderlands can be turned off so as not to completely ruin your life :)

Not to mention some of the characters you meet along the way are very colorful and interesting, each with their own distinct personality.
