I have this. I'm only on Level 3 missions offline at the moment (Level 1 online), but am having a blast! ^_^

I was interested in that game, but there's a lack of cash going on for the new systems.

So far I've beaten the "Final boss" offline, and I reached HR 20 online.

I'm at the Lagiacrus battle. Spent 3 hours today gathering some machalite ore for the Rampart lance. Kinda odd.....when I needed pelagicite ore, all that dropped was machalite. Now that I needed machalite, all that kept dropping was pelagicite. Oh well, at least I got enough. I'll probably tackle Lagi tomorrow. I need Lagi tails for the other lance I'm working on. However, I do need a Gobul Lantern for the third lance I'm crafting, so maybe I'll work on that.

I haven't tried online yet.

Offline mode really helps out a lot. The monsters are tougher online. I heard these games are famous for making sure to never give you want you want. Like it somehow knows what your looking for. I been trying to get this Uragaan Jaw forever. It just won't drop it though. DX But whenever I don't need something anymore, it starts giving them to me all the time.

Yeah, I've played every NA released Monster Hunter since the first.....so I've been down this road before. Just gotta be patient and persistent.

I took down Lagi and I'm probably gonna make an attempt at getting some Lagi tails for my Spiral Lance + tonight. Hacking off tails isn't the easiest thing to do with a Lance, so I'm crafting a Quropeco Chopper SnS to help with that.

So much to do....so little time.
