Estpolis: The Lands cursed by the Gods

Post by Dragon Master Lunar81 »

Is anybody playing this? Interested? It is the new Lufia game which is a rebirth of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. I am playing it through and it is really, really good! Is anyone else playing it? I know that the only people who seem like they can read Japanese is Shiva Indis and Kizyr though but is anyone else trying? Kizyr, Shiva, are you guys playing this game?

I wish I was, but there was barely room in my budget for HSS.

I don't import, but I must note that as I saw info for this game coming out, I was pretty disgusted by Tia's redesign. <_< Looked interesting aside from that, though! Still, I'm not too sure about the switch in gameplay mechanics. It seems fun, but I always liked the pretty classic turn-based system with the extra monster raising system and all the special attacks linked to the weapons.

Want.

I completely missed out on Lufia II back in the day. I enjoyed Lufia, but I heard Lufia II was really something special, and I've always wanted to know what all the fuss is about.

If it comes out to the US, I'll definitely consider. That's definitely one game I wouldn't mind playing on a different system.

I've only ever played Lufia: The Legend Returns on the Gameboy Color. I think that was suppose to be Lufia III?

Even though I only played The Legend Returns, I enjoyed it a lot. I've always wanted to play Lufia I and Lufia II, so I might consider getting the new remake of Lufia II if it comes out in America.

I got so far in Lufia on SNES, but then I couldnt figure out where all these stones were I needed (IIRC, Alumina) and I put it down. Still have the save since this was in the past year or so. I wanted Lufia II but its so expensive and Im a collector =p I might pick up the remake if its released here, but I am turned off by the change in battle system.
