It doesn't make sense to me how "From the creators of Lunar:Silver Star" can end up on the box without Shigema or others from Studio Alex working on the game in some way.

Re: New work from Lunar writers!
A couple of posts ago Alun names people who worked on TSS and Lunar DS, so no problem there. Also, a 'creator' doesn't have to be an individual. Game Arts is a Lunar creator which has been involved in every game in the series.

I'm aware of that, and if none of the original people worked on the game then it was simply a marketing ploy to grab fans of the original game or the series in general.
Re: New work from Lunar writers!
Sorry for the delay/reviving an older topic, but I thought most would be interested in knowing how Mimana Iyar Chronicles is related to Lunar... First post in almost 15 years, I haven't written since the old Sega Threads... Needless to say, I needed a new password from Mickey before I could post what I know... I apologize if this info has been revealed in another topic, I just didn't see it anywhere else when searching...
If you don't already know Aksys, I highly recommend checking them out and supporting them in whatever way possible... Mimana is out now with special first-press only bonuses in the retail version and the PSN version is scheduled for an April 15th release.
Now the moment of truth; according to an Aksys exec "the story for Mimana was written by Kei Shigema." I was sold on the game before finding this out, now I can't wait any longer for my Amazon preorder to show up!!!

I haven't played it, but it's gotten some pretty bad reviews. Apparently the characters and plot suck, and the gameplay is nothing to write home about. I feel bad about hesitating to buy it, but I'm starting to think that maybe it was a good thing I did.

Yeah, I've read some of those reviews too. I just want to hear the POV of a Lunar fan, but maybe no one was brave enough to buy it?

I was going to pick this up but I didn't have the money at the time. I'll find the vers. with the CD used when I get the chance, but probably not anytime soon. I'd like to see what people here think too..

I saw this at Game Stop and wanted it... but I had to preorder Persona 3 and BlazBlue 2!
Re: New work from Lunar writers!
Did you preorder the games because of gifts? I love pre-order bonuses.
