Nintendo DS games suggestions

I can't believe nobody's suggested Animal Crossing: Wild World yet! It's definately a fun "doll-house" type game (like The Sims).

If you like platformers, I reccomend New Super Mario Bros and Sonic Rush. Also, the new Yoshi's Island game is getting fantastic reviews, and I plan on getting it this coming weekend while I'm out doing my Christmas shopping.

As for RPGs, I have yet to be genuinely wowed by any that I've played myself so far. Lunar: Dragon Song is a decent game, but it definately is a letdown in comparison to the rest of the Lunar series. I had high hopes for Children of Mana as well, but it turned out to be a ho-hum hack and slash button-masher. Final Fantasy 3 seems go be getting good reviews, though, and I plan on picking it up this weekend as well.

If you like puzzle games at all, then you really should get Tetris DS, especially if you have any sort of WiFi hookup; I spend by far more time playing this game than any other DS game I've purchased so far, specifically in WiFi mode.

Trace Memory is a wonderful adventure game (a genre that seems to be getting a facelift on the DS), but it's extremely short; I finished it in about 8 hours, and that's without consulting any sort of FAQs or anything. Still, those were 8 really great hours.

Big Brain Academy is also a fun little diversion; I got it with the first batch of games I got with my DS, and I still find myself picking it up occasionally and trying to set new highscores in my favorite minigames.

Ack! llovemyguitar. you're right! I forgot about Animal Crossing: Wild World. That one is most definitley worth a purchase!

Wow, pratically every game everybody recommended all have high reviews. Alright, time to add more to the list.

Animal Crossing gets old and kind of boring after a couple of months...if that. I got it on GC and the DS....I won't be getting a Wii version unless they add a lot more things to be able to do at ALL hours and a keyboard attachment has to be possible.
