I know it sounds like a personal attack, but it's really the redundancy that sticks out to me -- in both this and another poll he says that there should be no question who he picks (and insults whoever doesn't know this about him, like, say, any new member). With that phrasing it just begs the question of why say anything if you believe it's incontrovertibly obvious? I don't object to the content of the comment, because it is obvious to anyone who's read his prior posts, but the very wording sounds like it's intended to be an unnecessary post. So I responded pointing out that.

I dunno. I see no reason why he can't reply like that. I just don't see it as being any less unnecessary than him just saying "Lucia is my pick." I think it fits his personality and doesn't come off bad. And the "insults" were obviously in a joking manner, as anyone who's been here for a while knows how much he likes the character.
