Lunar 2 Eternal Blue, 8 bit music

Hello!
I have made 3 covers for Lunar 2.
They are as close to the originals as I could make them, except, using 8 bit instruments! =D Now it sounds a bit closer to what it would on an NES or GameBoy.
I have done each note by ear. I don't think I've seen midis of these songs online, ever.

List:
1. Running Hero
2. Battle (Brave Warriors)
3. Victory (Sega CD version)

(Edit: I noticed a quality problem with 1 of the tracks so this is a link of re-uploaded files)

Hope you enjoy!!

Self shameful bump with an update.

I have uploaded one of these songs to youtube. Already got a comment! YAY : D
It should be easier to listen to there rather than downloading a rar from a link and having to extract and mess your desktop... *sigh* but I didn't know how to upload with good quality.

I made a picture for it too!

Oh my...I absolutely love this! ^o^b It's so NESY.
At first I wasn't going to download because I'm generally lazy, but after seeing the youtube video for it I NEED it. <3 (Nice pixel art there too)
Awesome job, Jay! ^__^

Thank you very much! : D
I wish I did the whole OST, and from Lunar 1 too. Both SCD and PS1.
It would be a seriously insane amount of work though. For now I'm thinking TSS battle theme would be next!
Would upload the other 2 songs to youtube.

NESify all the Lunar music you can but don't set any sort of time limit on yourself and do it on a 1 on 1 basis so you don't get sick of it.

Just finished a new one. I thought I picked an easier one for the meantime, but it was a lot harder than I thought...

I don't know how I didn't reply to this
Thank you very much! (2 years later... *sigh*)
Lunar DS has a great OST. It may not be up to par with TSS, SSS or EB, but for a spinoff, early DS game, it delivers too much fun!
May be up to par with Magic School, though I only played the GameGear version which had nice music but not very deep.

I've made a new song just now too, which is why I looked for this thread to avoid making new ones :P

It's the Dragon's Lair theme from EB and SSS.

Truthfully, if you look at DS as a standalone title, it’s really not that horrible. -_- I personally loved the sprite work in the game and the music too. The storyline, from a lunar fan perspective, and duel screen battles are what really killed it for me. But enough about that.

This new song you did is just as awesome as the others you posted! >w< Not to mention it’s making me super nostalgic. Good thing I’m already playing a version of SSS, or I might have had to start up a new file.

I'm surprised and glad to hear this too because... this is technically much more limited and simple than the other songs.
The others had basically as many instruments as I wanted and they sounded however I wanted.
For the Dragon theme, I used the GameBoy limts. Just 3 instruments at once. There is a LOT lost from the original. And the instruments sound how the GameBoy wants them to sound, not me. Which is great but still, I was a bit afraid it wasn't gonna live up to expectations :P It got tricky at some parts.

Makes me wonder!
Would you take a Lunar game with a story that is just as strong as Lunar 1 and 2, with very similar gameplay if not better and polished.........
But looks and sounds exactly like a GameBoy game?
