I just finished this moments ago. It was a very quick drawing, and then a quick coloring. It didn't take like hours to color his skin.

Looks nice. :3 Yep. The scanner always tends to lighten things. It does that to me too... 
Also computer monitors vary.... I wouldn't know how light or dark it was without seeing the original anyways. I like the eyes and hair color.
