My NaNoWriMo (In Process)

So, it's National Novel Writing Month and I've been volunteered to produce a story. I've had this story floating about in fragments in my head for about a year. It took me awhile to finally decide to get to work on it. It's original intent was to be a parody of Harry Potter and Twilight, but then I started getting serious about it. in order to spare anyone who actually watches me or has me befriended. I am going to make this single, solitary, tagged post. With an LJ-Cut. I will make no more NaNoWriMo posts. I will, instead, edit this solitary post every time I update the story. You can read the story in all its glory here. Please don't plagarize the -Fatal Hopper- out of it. I'm open to critique and comment, but, because of the time frame I won't be able to act on many suggestions until the story is completed.

This story is going through constant a constant state of change, and it will only be in its permanent form upon its completion. I will not be saving it in each of its manifestations to show how it has evolved over the course of my writing it (mostly because I simply do not have the time.) So if you really give a damn, feel free to keep checking in on it every now and then.

The goal is to create an engrossing diverse and immersive world with its own histories and dynamic cultures while developing an epic mythology like the one present in Watership Down. The sheer grandeur of the realm of Aln is the backbone of the story and is explored through the tale of this story's central characters.

All that out of the way, I'll get started in the next post.

I wrote myself into a corner and was about 10k words short. But I'm finishing it up now and I'll post it up this November because I'm a slacker.
