I highly recommend it. I can see why some people might not like Wes Anderson as a director, but it greatly helps that this isn't his story. You can't go too wrong with Dahl's genius.
Unless you're Tim Burton.
But this movie is like everything that's good about Disney's Robin Hood, with just as much dancing and more fuzziness.

I've been looking forward to this one - good to see a recommendation. I liked the trailers, and the other day I was kind of suprised to discover that it was out.

Re: Fantastic Mr. Fox
I loved Mr. Fox!! I think it takes having a certain taste to appreciate it tho. Me and my girlfriend were pretty much the only people laughing in the theater, and my twelve year old sister hated it (probably because it wasn't twilight). But I loved Life Aquatic too, and you could tell this movie was done by Wes Anderson. Good stuff.. :3

I'm not familiar with that story. I love Dahl's work in general: Matilda, The BFG, James and the Giant Peach, Esio Trot, The Witches. Somehow I missed Fantastic Mr. Fox.
