Hey everyone -- sorry it seems that with a recent upgrade the direct links to YouTube videos no longer work (or are retained). May generally be best to just post the links directly.
That said, Bloodywood (who's now my favorite metal band) released another song a short while ago that's a real emotional trip, and I love it:

Apparently my mood of the week is very much Morrowind remixes. Here's Dagothwave: "I'm a god! How can you kill a god? What a grand and intoxicating innocence!"

Adjy has released an ambitious project called The Idyll Opus (I-VI) and I don't know the story or concept, but there's clearly a romantic bent as there's a bunch of tracks about a boy named June meeting a girl named July. There's a ton of cicada imagery littered throughout as well, which was a treat for me as I'm from one of the epicenters and have fond memories of their previous appearance. The whole thing is unabashed, fitting for summer, unembarrassedly naive, and while I think it may only appeal to fans of a certain genre, I just have to post about it
tl;dr
Go to the 2-minute mark in this song -- the instrumental break there is absolutely breathtaking.

Yar, me child of four mostly prefers the big, flash-in-the-night videos like OK Go's Upside Down and Inside Out.
