Hajime no Ippo sequel series!

Awesome! One of my favorite anime series of all time, Hajime no Ippo is returning to television. The first series was about Makunouchi Ippo and his journey to obtain the Japanese Featherweight boxing title, but the manga itself went far past that point. I'm so happy to hear that Ippo's quest towards the world will be covered! Woo! ><

I've been meaning to watch this series for long time. I heard it's awesome. I have the ps2 game that came out a couple years ago.

You're damn right it's awesome. The dubbing wasn't very well done, and sports series don't tend to sell very well in the states, so it was kind of overlooked, but it's a gem. I love it to death.
