My Tiny Claim to Fame

Post by Pisces »

Huh...I didn't know this till now, one of my friends found it.

Apparently, my name has a listing on the Internet Movie Database:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2267822/

Of course, for those of you who don't know me, that could be anyone's name. But it's my name.

lol, it doesn't have anything fancy, I just was like "hey...cool! i'm on imdb."

It's from a half-hour short film I did a few years ago. Which I still haven't seen, because my friend Chris (who wrote and directed it) hasn't ever gotten me a copy of it, even though it won some "Best Short Film" award in Kansas or something.

Wow, how'd you find out about it? I tried searching for my name, and besides giving me twenty different search results, it compared me to James Woods (no, I'm not a Woods).

You should upload a photo on there though. Preferably the one with the mask. :D

There's a few of us on that site here at LunarNET actually:

Alunissage: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1578465/
ShadowAce: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1634092/
NallWdrgn's Brother: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1578358/
Me: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1635307/

All for haiku contributions for Lunar 2, so ours isn't for a film, but a game.

BTW, it costs money to get your photo in there, I believe. And it's not cheap.

Neither of us are in there. You can add credits for it, but when I added a little biographical info for my page, it took them months to do it. Unless it's something popular (ie. big movies) it takes a long time to get through. At least, that's the way it used to be.

Figures. Anyway that list should be updated to include Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete since I recall the same Haiku is in the re-make.

Actually, the haiku are only in EBC, not EB. But IMDB just has the one listing (same for Lunar 1 I believe). It's fairly inaccurate, but considering the amount of work it would take to get any of it changed, it's too much hassle probably.

Blah, it's worth that kind of effort to prevent my name from showing up under Lunar: DS. KF

Hey! I always wanted to know who's haiku was who's. xD I always have fun reading them in the game, and I was wondering who submitted which haiku.

I searched for my brother in IMDB, he finished acting in an independent film not too long ago. Well, he didn't show up, but my aunt did. xD She works in NY as a television writer and other things. Anyway, I thought that was kinda cool, I never thought of looking her up on IMDB.

I can't remember everyone's haiku's, but mine was something about the Dragonmaster. Something like "Red, white, black and blue. Colors of the Dragonmaster" or something to that effect. I think Alunissage's was related to Althena. I can't remember past that. Alunissage probably knows the ones from here, if she sees this thread.
