Welcome! If you stay long enough, you'll eventually get comfortable. Everyone here is nice, although there are the few occasional people you should watch out for.

Oh, one more thing. You should probably get that link off of your location. It's illegal to post or have those sorts of links here on L-net.

Yeah, we actually behave pretty well for a forum. I know I've had a rocky time occasionally. But generally, that's due to my sarcasm that can border being passive-aggressive.

I have to ask you please not to police the boards. If something really is amiss, folks can always bring it to our attention via PM instead (there are many reasons for this, but if any of the admins takes action, then it starts looking like we take sides unless we keep to this rule). I'm not trying to be mean, but, it's just something we ask of other folks here.

Anyway, the link in that location is fine for now, I don't think it's that big a deal. But, that might change in the future (particularly if we get any outside complaints). Just so you're aware of that. KF

It's perfectly acceptable for a security guard to pretend that he has the authority to police a board since he has the real life experience of pretending that he has the authority to police.
