yo, wazzup...I'm new, I love Lunar...and I was on google searching for a Lunar forum, glad I found it...I want to try to find the other Lunar games I never played...like I've played the PS1

Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue

Lunar Legends

Lunar: Dragon Song (worst one, I sold it before I got 1 hour of playtime)
Lunar is the 2nd greatest game next to FF

Welcome! It's always nice to see new fans come here!

You should try to find the Sega CD versions of Lunar and Lunar 2 Eternal Blue. They are both as good as the PS1 versions.

Some may argue that they're better with regards to plot and even music (especially comparing the different songs in redbook CD audio on TSS vs. the not-as-good [IMHO] new songs rendered in cheesy PSX midi in SSS).

Now, now. It's not cheesy PSX midi on the Saturn version of SSS. ;)

Agreed, although that's mostly because the Saturn's sound hardware is vastly superior to the PSX's. :) I still remember when Ghaleon would use his rock and roll spell on the Saturn version -- the bass from that spell on my stereo setup would shake the entire house. Not so much on the PSX version... That said, I still say the TSS music was better composed than SSS's, for the most part.

The bigger travesty, IMHO, is what happened to EBC's music between the Saturn and PSX. It was crystal clear on the Saturn, yet sounded "muddy" on the PSX, despite being nearly identical otherwise.

It's not exactly hard to find; didn't you look in the EBC board?

I actually own a copy of the saturn version of EBC, but I need a saturn, and I will get one. I'd be willing to learn japanese just to play it XD. I thought the music to both SSSC and EBC were really good, but on PS EBC sounded rather noisy, and SSSC sounded really soft, while the sound effects were loud and noisy. It's too bad the saturn versions never made it to the US.
