Hey every one. I'm actually new to the Lunar universe which is why I'm here I feel this forum will be a great help in the development of my game.

But theres not much to me cept I love games and I'm making a Lunar Legend game yet never played Lunar Legend. Thats why I plan to get a rom soon. But on other things my game Lunar Legend Relentless is a fighter. I always wanted to find a rpg I could turn into a fighter and this one fit the requirments. I'll post some screens in another section later.



PS: Contact me on aim at Afrogamer14 for quick screen shots. MSN works and I'm rarly on Yahoo but AIM you will get them the quickest (must have aim V 5.5 and below)

Hello. Please be sure to read the rules (in the Announcements forum), especially the topic on post contents.

To be honest, I'll be surprised if your idea is greeted with much enthusiasm. Lunar fans as a whole tend to be rather hostile to the battle system being messed with, Lunar Legend being the first (though not worst) offender in this regard... It sounds like you're selecting an RPG to convert based on its availability or some such rather than its specific suitability.

I don't know, I think a Lunar side scroller fighting game would be intresting, and with L:L's select a point and go travel system, it may work. Some levels you'll have Alex running around fighting, on other's you can have Nall, and on most you can select which character you want to use and you go on different missions depending on when the character comes into the game.

I dunno, I can see both sides of the argument. Perhaps as soon as more time passes Lunar fans will be craving enough to accept a fighting game, but then again, maybe not.

Thanks every one. I'll be sure not to break anyrules. I will however post what I have going so far. I planed almost everything out

Note: I'm still tinkering with the starting line up.

Lunar Legend: Relentless

-Genres-

1.Basics
This game will be a fighter at the core with a mixture of original features.
The goal of this game will not be to deplete your opponents health(which does not exist)
The goal is in fact to keep your enemy down.

2.Stats
Stamina - Determines how quick you will get up
Balance - Determines your balance and when you will fall
Magic - Show how often you can use skills
Condition - Shows how attacks effect your stamina and recovery speed

3. Victory
Once you manage to knock your opponent down a counter will show above them.
If this counter reaches 10 before they can get up you win.
You gain extra points and cash depending on the judges.

4. Defeat
If you are knocked down you can rapidly press action keys to recover quicker.
If your stamina recovers before the counter down is over your balance bar will reset to half.
Doing well in a match is useful even if you think you have no chance.
If the judge thinks you did a great job you will get a second shot at the enemy to make the deciding rule.

5. Judging
At the end of a match judges will grade both of you.
If the victor gets a lower grade then his opponent then the opponent will get another shot
Depending on your grade and performance you gain cash
Cash can be used to purchase new missions along with characters and stages
Cash can also be used to buy move list.

6. Missions
Missions are ways to get even more secrets.
Missions will give you Odani which can purchase things that cash cannot
Missions will give you thinks you must manage to d in a much.
Such as defeating an enemy with a certain condition
Some may include doing certain moves making move list important

Hello. I am the type person who will not judge until i have seen it played or played it myself. So your idea is ok with me because i have never seen it and it may be what the Lunar community needs. All in good time i guess.
