Milk does the body good... unless you're lactose intolerant (which, I'm not).
Fun fact about lactose intolerance: Most mammals develop lactose intolerance following infancy. This is actually the "default" in humans as well. But, people who raised cattle eventually retained the juvenile trait into adulthood. This is why there's such a high prevalence of lactose intolerance n Native Americans.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try... I just worry about my nose.

Nah. Just take a calcium supplement or something if you feel like you're not getting enough calcium. That's the only real benefit of milk.

Bigger breakfast, smaller first snack.

Well, we get most of our energy from breakfast, as well as kicking our metabolism back up. While it is just a personal opinion (and from what a nurtitionist told me), breakfast should be one, if not the, largest meal of your day. *shrugs*

I'd disagree about making it the largest meal of your day. It's the most important, but that doesn't mean it needs to be the largest. Try to figure out what's healthiest, and what gives you a good amount of energy in the morning (and, what you like eating). KF

Re: Nobi's diet blog of dictation, observations, and suggestions
Well, low-carb diets are fairly controversial.
The problem is low-carb diets tend to be high-fat diets. I do however think that there are some carbs that are better than others. Fruits are definitely a good source of carbs as are many vegetables. Oatmeal's good too depending on how it's flavored (i.e. it doesn't have too much sugar).
Now bread, breads, and potatoes are something that you should probably use sparingly. This is especially true for white bread. (I see that you are mostly eating whole wheat, which is much better.) One thing that you may want to consider is turning your afternoon sandwich into a chef's salad (don't eat ranch or blue cheese dressing, though).
If you go on a low-carb diet, I wouldn't stay on a low carb diet for too long. It may make you thin (I'm dubious about that), but it's not going to make you fit.

Another thing I just thought of... how much water do you drink during the day? If it's only what's you list here, I say, drink more.

Whoa. Yeah, you seriously need to drink more water. What is the current recommendations, around 64 ounces a day?

I was going to suggest you buy one of the nutrition scales that was on sale today at Woot. Unfortunately, it's sold out! (I was going to buy one, too )
