I, um... don't know. I got it checked a while ago and at the time it was fine. The diet my sister was suggesting is focusing on trying to kill some of my carb intake (she was worried that oatmeal was too high carb).
Do you think I should switch back to oatmeal?

Totally, preferably if it's not instant. Oatmeal rocks in the morning. Get the engine running hot early.

Carbs aren't necessarily bad, especially if you're getting enough exercise to burn the calories. (Actually, carbs are generally good. What you should be going for is a balanced diet. Don't fixate on one or two things (like lowering carbs). I prefer grains in the morning (cereal, waffles, etc.--and milk and juice) since that's what gets me going. Your needs may differ, though, so if you're going to be doing anything out of the ordinary, then I really suggest getting professional help with it.
Anyway, what I'm saying is that a dozen eggs a week and no carbs in the morning doesn't sound like a good idea to me, but I'm not an expert. If you're going to be doing that, though, I suggest getting a nutritionist's advice. (Is your sister a nutritionist? If so then I retract my comment.) KF

I spoke with my sister and she thinks the same, we'll try to work something out by next week.
In the meantime, it's Thursday, so another Japanese lesson day (I drive to New Jersey Monday, Thursday, and Saturday for Japanese lessons).
Assuming nearly 2 liters of water throughout the day in addition to the below...
Breakfast:
- 2 eggs
- 1 coffee
Snacks:
- 1 banana
- 20 small pretzels
- 1 apple sauce
- 1 health bar (180 calories, I was hungry)
Lunch:
- Turkey Sandwich
- Orange
Snacks:
- 1 Banana
- 4 Saltine Crackers
Dinner:
- 1 Turkey Sandwich
Snacks:
- 1 Peanut Butter Sandwich
- 1 ounce cheese
In the meantime, it's Thursday, so another Japanese lesson day (I drive to New Jersey Monday, Thursday, and Saturday for Japanese lessons).

*ugh* I don't know what to do...
For the past week-ish, unless I overeat like I did on Tuesday, my stomach is in pain. Like, really painful, and really really constant. Water helps sooth it, but only a little, and I feel like each time I drink some water, the effect wears off to an extent.
I've lost weight and dieted before, but I've never, ever felt this kind of pain/resistance for this prolonged a period before. This really started a couple of weeks ago-ish. I must be doing something really wrong, I talked to my sister about vegetables, but she's more concerned with my caloric intake. I think I'm losing weight and all, but it's not like it's dropping off like crazy. Not in a way that would justify the pain IMO.
Is there anything I can do? Like, would something like Tums help or something? This is really starting to get unbearable and I do NOT want to break! I can't break! I must lose the weight and lose it for good! I'm not giving up! But I need to do something!

Like what kind of pain is it? Hungry pains or a burning pain? You may just have to deal with a hungry pain.
But a burning pain? That doesn't sound normal to me (I don't diet, so I don't know for sure). You may want to see a doctor about that. It could be an ulcer or something.

I don't really know how to describe the pain really. Just that it hurts, and it *feels* like I'm hungry. I've never had an ulcer before so I've no idea what that feels like for a basis for comparison...

So I went to the doctor. They think it's gastritis. Not quite an ulcer, but it looks like it was on its way. Thank you SO much Werefrog, for suggesting ulcer and making me go to a doctor.

Yeah, it was just a case of bad timing. But it just felt strangly constant (i.e. it lasted all day) and after a little more than a week, I felt something had to be wrong. I never even thought of an ulcer or ulcer-like condition (or gastritis as it turned out...), so I was really worried 'cause I had no idea what to do.

I traded in my old scale for a new scale that's more accurate. So the results are a little different.
Last week's weigh in Saturday: 221 lbs.
Last weeks' measure in Saturday: 41 1/2 inches (measured from belly button, parallel to floor)
This week's weigh in Saturday: 221.7 lbs.
This week's measure in Saturday: 41 1/4 inches
Today's my bad day, so not everything is healthy I realize. >>
Breakfast:
- Donut
- Diet Pepsi
Lunch:
- 1 plate of pork cutlet curry rice
- 1 Pepsi
Dinner:
- Peanut Butter Sandwich
- 100 Calorie snack
- Cranberry Juice
Snack:
- Peanut Butter Sandwich (I was hungry!)

Okay, so I had oatmeal this morning and the bad feeling in my stomach had returned. This is the only change I've made today.
Temporary conclusion: Oatmeal is aggrivating the Gastritis and will be removed from my diet for now.

I've actually heard that soup (with a water base as opposed to a cream base) is good when you're dieting because it makes you feel full.
