Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by LuNaRtIc »

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :D Besides stuffing yourself, what is everyone doing today?

My older brother and sister came home from college, and my sister brought two of her Japanese class mates with her. They're very sweet and I'm having fun getting to know them. :D After dinner tonight we're all going over to Canada (It's only a 10 minute drive) to see the light festival they have going on there. That's a family tradition we've been doing for several years now, it's a lot of fun.

I hope everyone has a great day! <3

Yay family!

I spent the day with my family, which includes brothers (+in law), sisters, mom, dad, the cousins, aunts, uncles, and mamaw and papaw. Lots of food, lots of games... warmth. All good. :D

I started a in-depth business plan that I spent hours and hours of sleepless-ness working on it, only to finally give up and call it a night. Why can't making your own business be easy. Bah. Well, at least I got about .0001% of the business plan done. :)

But yeah, it was a good day today.

Watched the Champion's League games from Europe that I had DVR'd, played some Wii, at some turkey, and it was a good day. Did a bit of shopping this morning, but not nearly as much as I had planned. Seeing the lines made me say to hell with it.

Well, I already celebrated Thanksgiving, (silly Canadians!) but I'll wish you a happy one. Where abouts in Canada are you going?

Have fun in my country! XD

We just went over the Blue Water Bridge into Sarnia, Ontario. There is a park there that's decorated in all kinds of lights, so we walked off our dinner while looking at the lights. The Japanese girls really liked it. It was really cold out and we could see our breath, the girls were fascinated by it, because they're from Okinawa. So they're not used to the cold weather, they never saw their breath in the air like that lol. ^_^

i didnt get to spend thanksgiving with my family, i spent it in hawaii with my 3 roomates. It kinda sucked becasue this is the first turkey day ive spent away from home, but we made the best of it, we played a big football game, then we deep fried a turkey. Then started deep frying other things too like apples, bananas, pineapples, and cornbread. Deep fried bananas are really good, and the pineapples were pretty good too. I had to work friday so there wasnt much of a point in going home, the flight is like 15+ hours, so there wasnt even enough time. Im kinda looking forward to christmas though cause i havent really seen my family in like a year.
I wasn't born to fit in, I was born to stand out

I visited my family in Indiana for Thanksgiving. Actually traveling for the holiday was a new experience for me since up until this year I'd never lived more than a mile or two away from where my family did. Anyways, it was a good experience, and I certainly enjoyed the opportunity to visit family and friends back home.
