I'm pretty sure i'm precognant now.Alunissage wrote:You are, again, missing the point. LunarNET ran the poll for the US name of Genesis at the request of UbiSoft, and that poll's results were indeed used in naming the game. Thus, that poll mattered. It doesn't matter what you think of the game -- which everyone knows anyway because you tediously repeat it every time the game's mentioned even in passing -- it was an important thing for the site. The character tourney is just for fun.Benevolent_Ghaleon wrote:That, also, is insignificant.Kizyr wrote:It's a bloody character tournament. It's not like we're voting on the name for Lunar Genesis. You're taking it way too seriously; if the poll is 'ruined' for you, don't vote. KF

I think we should do this the way it's done for the Presidential elections when there is no majority. First we will have to appoint a Lunar Congress representing the citizens in each of the Zones of Lunar. Then Congress decides. However, there is only one vote per zone.LuNaRtIc wrote:That's because I did a quick Myspace bulletin. e.e G1, just let Nall win, don't do another poll, I'm working so hard to let him win! T^T

two votes to make it a tie... three votes for Luna to win...
Come on Nall camp, we are almost there, we have been holding out, and we have made it this far. And you do NOT want to see my friendship rings in action, and I'm pretty sure Lunartic is not one to mess with either should Nall fall. SO GET OUT THERE AND VOTE NALL FOR ALL! WOOOOO!

Half the people in this thread have done it.You're asking people who don't know the series at all to vote?
And regarding the runoff, between all the pro's and con's of it all, it didn't matter a bit because we had another friggin' tie. Luna and Nall in a tiebreaker for 24 hours only. Winner goes up against Ghaleon. I can't spare more than a day with it to keep this thing on schedule, so vote quick.

We'll be forced to do a three-way for the final, I guess. (which I strongly do not want to do) But I'm also contemplating just holding my vote til the very last minute tomorrow night and using it to break any possible tie-breaker.
Edit - Damn. They're STILL deadlocked. 14-14. With as screwy as this semi-final round has gotten, I almost think the outcome of the battle royal will be as good an indicator as the final matchup. There's just too many close-calls.

Wouldn't Lucia and Alex be out of it? Whichever of Nall or Luna loses this runoff would be third, so Lucia and Alex would only be competing for fourth, as Alex has already been defeated by Luna and Nall.
And doesn't it take the fun out of it to get people who couldn't care less to participate? I wasn't following the campaigning, but most of what was brought up would only make sense to Lunar fans anyway, and stuffing the ballot box seems to miss the point.
