It allows for preformatted text, so it's perfect for displaying ASCII pr0n.

I've never seen anyone use the code BBCode either; probably because nobody knows how to use it. (I don't.) Bold, italics, url, etc. BBCodes are very much like HTML, but Code doesn't seem to lend itself to an easy equivalent.
I would rather remove the shrunken quote boxes though since I'm clicking Expand far too often (roughly half the messages between your post and mine on this very thread). I don't think we've had much in the way of overt quoting abuse, so tucking the smaller quote box away in the Code BBCode doesn't seem like it would hurt anything.
Well, if the quote box could be set to like, maybe 10 lines in height, I think it'd be fine, that way things like, uh, Jenner's posts, don't end up destroying anyone on a 56k connection.
