if vgchartz is reliable...

lunar has 90k sales as of this moment for all regions...

42k for its first week

and 17k for its second week...

i wander if psn downloads are already added on the sales...

looks like lunar ssh is gearing for a 100k next week...

I also noticed that. For a niche title, this one may actually do pretty good. Go North America!

Just an FYI, after talking with some industry people, vgchartz isn't really super accurate. We should get a much better idea of sales when the NPD charts hit neogaf in early April.

So you're saying it might have sold more than that.

Or maybe I'm being too optimistic......

100,000 sounds like an awfully lot for any Lunar game. If the series were really that well known I think we could find the WD versions on E-bay for a lot cheaper than they are.

The last Lunar 1 remake sold about 200k on Saturn, and WD reported selling about 200k in the US as well. For SSH, numbers like that are pretty unattainable, but 100k could happen. And it'd be awesome.

Wow! 200,000 copies each for the Saturn and WD Lunars? That's incredible!

Sadly, they usually produce horribly inflated numbers rather than conservative low-ball estimates. As I said previously, the numbers for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, another PSP title, are off by nearly 100k based on the NPD.

Stuff like this is exactly why I post at GAF. I love following sales figures.
