Siliconera Interview with Dobashi (mostly)

Dobashi certainly seems to be into talking up this game... which is lucky for us. Shigema pops up in the middle to say "if the mascot character is soft and fluffy, you can’t lose!" Siliconera says they have another article with Xseed people coming up.

My favorite part - "If we were to have some new elements to add on I think it’d be better to just develop a new Lunar altogether."

That just made my day. XD

That also reminds me that I still need to watch the two new seasons of Slayers. I have Slayers Revolution in hand, ready to watch, but I'm still trying to finish Sailor Moon Stars. I've been really eager to watch Revolution though. I don't believe the other season has been released in America yet? At least, not to my knowledge. >_>

And on topic, hopefully we'll see good things in Lunar's future. ^_^

Nice!

Although if there was ever a time to start asking and sending in requests for a proper Lunar 3, I'd think it'd be now? They seem to be listening at the moment.

Dobashi feels that XSEED is the best partner for Game Arts because they had a much stronger relationship and collaboration with localizing the game here in the US. It bodes well for the series that the US once again seems to carry the stronger fanbase, and obviously there is more incentive for them to put more in the pipeline if sales of the game continue. One major factor in this relationship is the mere fact that you see the Game Arts logo front and center before the title screen as a sign of respect for the original material and creator.
