Has the Japanese version released any updates/fixes on PSN?

After I fight the Pikuni near the Holy Mace in Althena's City, the game up and freezes on me.

I remember running into something similar in the Japanese version. After a fight in that part of the dungeon, the area map loaded, but not to the part that the characters were in. I couldn't control them either. Fortunately, it gradually corrected itself and I was able to proceed. Weird one, though.
