Final Japanese box art

Post by Nobiyuki77 »

Title says it all, it's the main artwork for the site but a little better cropping, no surprises really.

Pretty. I have to buy a new keyboard now, since all this drooling caused it to short out, ha ha.

Kinda looks like the original box art. Except I don't really like the new one. I think Althena's Sword looks way to big for Alex to handle. Plus Luna, Kyle, Nash, & Jessica's faces look weird.

Um, there have been lots of character collages. That's just the way they tend to look.

Althena's Sword does look oddly flat there, though.

I dunno, I like it. Besides, it's a very small box this is coming in, you gotta do the best with what you got.

I actually think everyone on the right is fine. I'm just not a major fan of the really thick line around Alex's face and Luna's face shape and mouth. All the supporting characters look great, I think.

Remember how most everyone here collectively lost their dragon diamonds over this piece of art when it first showed up? I'm quite glad that this is going on the cover of the game. More eye-catching cover = slightly more likely to be successful = slightly more chance of more Lunar games.

I find nothing wrong with how any of the characters are drawn. I actually like this piece of art a lot...except for the aforementioned flat-looking sword in Alex's hands...

Agreed, I'm digging the new box art big time.
