I always felt the dragon angels were part of a test, to prove yourself worthy of Althena's Sword. A trial by combat, and a test of persistence and of heart to make sure you were ready to become Dragonmaster.

in Lunar: Eternal Blue Nall has Althena's Sword and he gives it to you, probably because you'd already proven yourself and probably also because he figured you'd need it on your journey.

But in Lunar: SSSC you just walk up and take the sword without a final test. WTF? Maybe cause you already passed the other tests you didn't need one, I dunno.

Dragon Angels ruled though.

And Luna's breasts are so huge they split into two different characters.

I'm with Jenner on this one scaling the Goddess Tower and earning Althena's Sword by defeating the Dragon Angel's (and getting some nice narration) enhanced the game IMO. It was something that I really missed in SSSC amongst a long list of other things.
