Ghaleon's Lute

I'm now making a cosplay of Pleasure Garden/Lute Ghaleon, and it's been bugging me a for a while, but I could not figure out what his lute was. Until now. After much research I'm 95% sure I've found it (or the closest thing in the real world).
It's the Italian Colascione: https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/colascione
It has 3 strings with tuning pegs, a sound hole in the front, long neck, relatively small body. The yellow peg in at the botton of Ghaleon's lute is likely just to rest it, and does not affect sound (I say this because of how thin it is.) Please note that I am not a trained musician, and that variants of a lot of these older instruments existed.
It even sounds similar too:
