This board is for general discussion of Lunar. Especially things such as Lunar merchandise, general discussions about the story that span more than one game, etc.

Whole box of Factory Sealed Lunar 2 EBC games

Ever wanted a box of 12 factory sealed Lunar 2 EBC games? All you need is 19,999 Canadian Dollars apparently.

That's like 1,600 Canadian Dollars for each game. That's just insane. Especially when new copies of EBC are only going for about $200 on Ebay.

That box doesnt even have any indication of what the contents are! At least its not shown in the pictures.

It's not just EBC; there was also a box of SSH and I think something else. They've been on eBay for a while; I don't check often these days, but they were listed the last few times I checked.

I just decided to check the user to see what other games there were since Alunissage mentioned there was more:

At least SSH is fairly priced, since there are 4 games in the box, that makes them roughly $34 each. However, the person is asking 1,499 candian dollars for the SSSC box (which only has 3 games in it). While that isn't nearly as bad as the EBC box, that is still about $500 for each copy of SSSC in that box, which is still overpriced.

I didn't even notice the "Swizzerland" thing on the EBC auction until you guys pointed it out, lol.

You know that sticker on the SSSC box? The one that says Working Designs SLUS 000628?
THAT little sticker may as well be the reason of all the money going for that auction! And not the factory sealed games themselves.

I never really thought that a sticker would be so important. That actually might explain everything with these auctions.

And I feel the same way you do S.ninja. The only Lunar merchandise I own is the Ghaleon punching puppet, the Ghaleon manga, and the two artbooks. I'd like something more rare. Personally, I'd die for the keychains. I want them soooooo bad, lol.
