Dark Scimitar screenshot in Kizyr guide

Now, to my knowledge, the Dark Scimitar was exclusive to the Mega CD version of Eternal Blue, and even then was a beta weapon, removed from the final game. Now my question is how it found its way in here. To my knowledge, there is no proof within the game code for the Dark Scimitar's existence in Legend.
Someone please enlighten me on this, as I can only explain it three ways.
First: the screenshot is from a beta version of the Japanese release.
Second: the Dark Scimitar exists within the game code, yet no one has found proof of it.
Third: the screenshot was doctored, and the weapon does not exist in Legend at all.
Clarify?
