She's not intending to surrender her immortality someday too, is she?
Sorry to nitpick, but it's only SSSC that spells that out. TSS ends with Luna's rescue, and the stills shown in the credits don't give any information about what she does later (and do show Alex as dragonmaster, so there's no suggestion that Lunar's "system" is really changing). That's why her recording in EB was a surprise, and even in that it's clear that she retained her goddesshood long enough to make it, since she's shown as Althena in it.Blue_Sycro wrote:In TSS/SSSC Luna/Althena definitely gave up the whole "being a goddess" thing, so there's some closure there
That's another thing that annoys me about the remake. It ruined that element of surprise in EB.Alunissage wrote:Sorry to nitpick, but it's only SSSC that spells that out. Immortal means she won't die, not that she's all-powerful.Rimmie wrote:Hey, wait a minute, if she's truely immortal, why'd she have to go back into the crystal thing and wait?
Ah, sorry about that. I've never played TSS, but I figured something that major in SSSC would have been something transfered over...guess it's time for me to hit ebay.Sorry to nitpick, but it's only SSSC that spells that out.
i think its more of a rest chamber similar to the ones in si-fi movies for long space flights, because if it was used to focus her energy on the revival of the blue star she couldnt spend her time with Hiro because she would have to focus on her work.Angelalex242 wrote:Also, I believe the Crystal is just an energy focuser or something like that. The Crystal's probably specifically designed to use her energy to revive the Blue Star.
That's why she plans on waiting inside of it for the Blue Star to be 'done', then spending the rest of her time out of it. She doesn't need to be in the thing to keep surviving, she just needs to be in it to do her revival work.
