It truly did happen..

Post by DragonmasterAndy »

My SSSC that was in storage has been lost, along with many other games that I love. The storage bill was not paid because someone forgot.

Gah!! Where I live, the only way to get a new one is the internet!

The game has always been a favorite of mine, and my interest in the series has risen again. Just when I feel like getting into it again, too...it's lost! That had some nostalgic value for me.

Wow. Dude, that sucks. I'd suggest Ebay. You probably will never find a new one, but I doubt you'll find a used one at a game store that isn't highly priced.

Dude, I'll end up paying an outrageous price for it. You're talking to a guy that pays high prices for out of print Metal albums.

I'm just disappointed, because I told my mother to get it out beforehand....

Damn it. :(

Sorry to hear that man, hopefully you can find one that's not too expensive.

Yeah, that's probably wishful thinking for me. I'm never relying on anyone ever again.

Shame on you for putting Lunar in storage to begin with! :)

Amazon had a new SSS to buy a little while back so it's possible you may come across a gamestore or something that has a marketplace account and will try to sell old stock on there.

Well, it wasn't exactly my fault. My Mother, who hasn't lived with me for a long time had a house somewhere else, and I took some games down and left them there. Instead of letting me come get my games when she had to move, she put everything in storage, and I lost them now. I'm pissed at her, now. She didn't even tell me until it was too late.

I would be furious if my mom told me to she was part of the reason my game was lost.

I'd be pretty upset. even more upset if I lost older games like FF3 for snes. In fact when I moved to Denver, I still had the case to Lunar, but lost the CDs. I looked over my bedroom before I left, so I couldn't possibly know what happened to them. They're long gone far as I know. It's ok though, I went to amazon and bought another copy. This time I got the whole box set, with the map and everything(which I thought I was getting before, but instead got the newer edition with fanart.

So I'm guessing the place just straight up took your stuff? Or are they just holding it until you can pay the bill. I'd ask if it's not too late if you can pay the bill and get at least the stuff that's important to you out of there before something like that happens again. I know we've got a storage bill overdue and all they did was hold our stuff until we can pay it back and get it out.

Most storage places will hold your stuff anywhere from 90 days to one year past your due date. After that they sell your stuff.

 In that case, I think I'll keep mine close at home, so nothing like that can happen. Thanks for the warning about storage units.

If i don't have my Lunar game, it's because someone is borrowing it. Good investment!
