Hi guys, I've read about a cd of Lunar 2 that contains many extras and also a screensaver, and everything is for pc.
I've bid the only one time I've seen it on ebay, but I lose for just 2 or 3 dollars... -_-
Does anybody now something about it?

Yeah, me and a few others here actually own it. It's called All the LUNAR.

This page can probably tell you about everything you need to know about it:

How? Does it ocassionally hit Ebay? I'm fairly certain i'd be willing to spend over 1K for it.

If by occasionally you mean once every five years or so, then yeah. Actually, I'm drawing a blank on whether it ever has shown up on eBay or if we all got ours via other sources. I and at least one other person who has it bought ours from a person who also sells on eBay but looked for it on request rather than finding it first and then putting it up for auction.

Mine was $95 but that was several years ago. One person who posted here (I forget who) did pay $400 or so for a new/sealed one.

I'm not sure it's worth as much as some paid for it. As a collector, sure, it's great, but there's not that much on it that's just amazing. I've posted the majority of the good stuff on the site already. I can't remember what I paid for it, but I know it wasn't over 200. I think closer to 100. I got mine through a contact of someone who bought it through Yahoo Japan Auctions.

In all honesty, it's not worth much over $100, even if you're a die-hard collector. It's rare, but it's not that much of a must-have item. KF

16 years later Ebay actually has one for sale now for $1,000.

Ha! You can get one on Mercari or similar for 5000Y=$50, so that is a royal scam they are pulling on ebay, especially since with modern proxy services you can have auctions/used items shipped abroad easily.

There is a common trend now of people selling games to themselves at high prices to jack up the expected price on other auction sites. (Note: If the video game resale market were regulated like more high-profile collectibles, this would actually be considered illegal as it's equivalent to wash trading. Don't do this -- there's a reason it's scammy because it literally is a scam.)

This is a bit rare but still not in that high demand, so yeah $1000 is either unrealistic or an attempt to jack up the perceived price.
