Encounter Rate?

Post by Atticus »

I finding Encounter rate vary odd
Tho I rarely to hard ever play alot Sega CD games due to all good ones cost money for rich (other then Shining CD and Wisdom the Lunar games and Vay now make much more Greater System play at time :P)

But anyway
I finding theres alot times were it takes LONG *vary odd long* time for me encounter sometimes
This seems to eather randomly as runing around or after leaveing town
Why I rarely with encounter what I would call "normal" rate
This Normal or something my be matter with my Sega CD/Lunar CD?

The Sega CD Lunar games had ACTUALLY random battles. You could go 30 seconds without a battle or you could have one every step for 5 steps. It kind of sucks, but that game is amazing enough that it is excusable.

There's also an item and a spell that decreases the encounter rate for 100 steps.

i think the pendant decreases the rate as long as your wearing it and the snake ring increases it for 100 steps
