For even faster battles...

Hi all,

I see everyone knows about holding R for fast battle speed, but did you know that battles go even faster if you hold both R and L at the same time? I'm posting this since I didn't see any mentioned of it.

I wasn't sure it was faster at first because the heroes don't look like they're going too much faster, but it's noticeable with the monsters.

If everyone knows this already I'll go ahead and delete this post (I don't wanna spam up the board ^^' )

Yes, I have been holding down both buttons. It does a number on your thumbs though after about an hour

Agreed! I have small hands so in order to hold the DS and the buttons caused some discomfort. But I'm not complainin', made the battles faster - huzzah! ^^

Rubber bands. Very TIGHT rubber bands.

Yes, I ran into that problem too. At one point I had the R and L buttons TAPED down...that had to go though when I could change battle modes.

That requires me getting out that little annoying stick to touch the screen and then promptly putting it back so I don't lose it I didn't like getting my finger prints on the screen...then again, I suppose I could of done that. There was another reason why I took off the tape...OH YEA because I couldn't change characters when looking at stats and buying things. That's right.

I'm not seeing a difference with both buttons in the battles themselves. However, the end of battle is quite visibly faster, especially with Lucia's rotating umbrella.
