Very Usefull Cards

Post by Tigalys »

I don't know if anyone has found these or has mentioned them before but I thought I would. I am in the frontier about to go into the castle and I have two really usefull cards that people may want to get.

Vitra (Dragon looking monster I think you fight in Sandra Dessert or Elda Valley)
Completely restores the party's HP
Hellbird (Blue bird you fight in either the Thieves' or Roland Woods)
Completely restores the party's MP

Hope that helps with anyone having problems.

I'd also like to add:

Trent (trees in roland forest): Recovers party's HP on the map. Also lasts a good while.

There's also this one bee card that helps to make the party stronger in combat, and a card that makes it so that all the monsters on the feild stop moving for a period of time (should you need to escape)

Trent? Like Tree + Ent? :P

That probably should be the next faq, the list of all cards, their effects, P, and locations. Would combine nicely with the item drops.

...we need a wiki for this sort of thing.

Actually, I believe someone already has one up for submission at GameFAQs, but is likely going through the same problems with them that I had.

I also found the Ice Mongrel card to be helpful, it lets you escape from a battle. I used it a lot when running back to a previous Althena statue.

Yeah, my Monster Card FAQ was rejected for being TOO incomplete (which it really was), but I expect to resubmit it tonight and have it accepted.

I've also prepared a FAQ for the Music Hall feature, but I need to get to Sandra Desert in my replay to check a few things before it'll be completely done.

Hey AquaHaute, nice to see you show up here! Welcome to the boards. When you get the posted, I'll do an update for them on LunarNET if you'd like.

How do you get cards? By combating to get items?

When you fight in Normal mode you get items and you get a chance to get a card from one of the enemies you are fighting.
