Why does Jian leave Gabe and Flora like that? How long until you get another playable character (besides Jian)? Jian is strong and all, but I really need another character to act as a healer....

No Jian has not been idiot, not at all.

Consider watching the pain in the ass that Flora is. And Gabi was not doing much for me anyway when he ditched them both.

When I saw him say : You'll only get in my way to those two amateurs, I marked out and thanked God for that, knowing that Jian was the only one doing decent damage anyway. I then took the opportunity to raise his levels in Edna Canyon until I had no more Healing Gums or drops left ( and I thanked God not having any big hard bosses in Vile Castle, and the fact I had saved 10 Healing Drops just in case when I had to fight the three bosses when Rufus and Gabi joined in ).

That game is so previsible I just knew Jian would have to be rescued by Gabi at some point, but I did not expect Rufus to be there too, I feared Flora's return instead.

What I did, was Basically run through the canon, because of lack of healing items, I was at level 25 at the time, I basically ran through there and castle vile, because your new member has no healing spells, so all I suggest is run and use any cards that may slow symbols or make them flee.

Party member number 3 is an inexprienced moron for a 'legendary hero.' Level 15? What's up with that? Guys like him should be the Laike that's level 99 and joins your party...

Just as an aside, when I finished the game, my three party members were only one level apart and had been that way for a while. People do catch up. But yeah, I found that person to be more of a pain than anything else (even with her first bow, Flora took out an airborne enemy with a 1-damage shot). Wish I'd known that there wasn't a boss coming up; I wouldn't have bothered conserving his MP.
